JS Polymer Cement Waterproof Coating
Younson JS polymer cement waterproof coating (JS waterproof coating) is a two-component water-based waterproof coating formulated with acrylic ester, vinyl acetate–ethylene copolymer emulsion, cement, fillers, and other additives. The coating cures through moisture evaporation and cement hydration, forming a durable waterproof film.
Product Specification Types

- Simple construction with short project duration.
- Strong adhesion to common building materials.
- Can be applied over existing waterproof layers for repair.
- Environmentally friendly, safe for drinking water applications.
Scope of Application
- Suitable for interior and exterior walls, kitchens and bathrooms, and pools.
Executive Standards
- GB/T 23445-2009 《Polymer Cement Waterproof Coating》
Construction Method
- Inspection, Cleaning, and Surface Repair:
- Ensure substrate is solid.
- Remove dirt, loose particles, or contaminants.
- Repair damaged, powdering, or sandy areas with polymer cement waterproof mortar. Clean repaired areas and apply a primer coat before proceeding.
- For roofs, check that the substrate slopes properly for drainage. Fill low spots with polymer cement mortar before repair.
- Ensure substrate is solid.
- Surface Preparation:
- Clean by washing or sweeping, ensuring no standing water remains.
- Apply a primer coat to the substrate.
- Clean by washing or sweeping, ensuring no standing water remains.
- Reinforcement at Critical Points:
- Strengthen areas around drain holes, wall penetrations, cracks, expansion joints, and corners before applying the main waterproof layer.
- Strengthen areas around drain holes, wall penetrations, cracks, expansion joints, and corners before applying the main waterproof layer.
Transportation and Storage
- Protect from rain, sunlight, and freezing temperatures during transport; avoid compression and impact. Keep packaging intact.
- Store in a dry, ventilated, and shaded area.
- The liquid component should be stored at temperatures not lower than 5°C.
Under normal transport and storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least six months from the production date.
Construction Timing / Usage
- Primary Use: New Construction / Pre-Construction (applied to walls, roofs, and floors during building phase)
- Secondary Use: Post-Construction / Repair & Renovation (can be applied over existing waterproof layers for repair or reinforcement)
