The Younson brand APP (Atactic Polypropylene) plastomer modified bitumen waterproof membrane is manufactured with APP or polyolefin polymers (APAO, APO) as modifiers, with polyester felt as reinforcement. The upper surface is finished with polyethylene film (PE), fine sand (S), or mineral granules (M) as isolation materials, and the lower surface is covered with fine sand or polyethylene film. It is a flexible, roll-type waterproofing material suitable for long-term durability.

Method: Hot-melt application
Process:
- Substrate cleaning and preparation
- Apply primer
- Additional reinforcement at critical areas
- Mark positioning lines
- Lay and adhere the membrane
- Reinforce nodes and joints
- Quality inspection
- Finished product protection
Precautions:
- Substrate must be level, solid, dry (moisture ≤ 9%), clean, free from hollowing, dust, cracks, or defects
- Corners should be rounded with radius ≥ 50 mm or chamfered at 45°
- Embedded parts and pipelines must be in place; slope of 5% required within 500 mm around drains
- Construction prohibited in rainy, snowy weather or wind ≥ level 5
- Hot-melt construction temperature ≥ -10°C
Packaging, Transportation & Storage
- Different types and specifications should be stacked separately, not mixed
- Avoid direct sunlight, rain; keep ventilated
- Storage temperature ≤ 50°C
- Store vertically in single layers; max. two layers during transport
- Prevent tilting or lateral pressure; cover with tarpaulin if needed
Shelf life: 12 months from production date under normal storage and transport conditions
