Product Description
The Younson wet laying waterproof roll is made from synthetic rubber and high-quality bitumen with active additives, produced using a special formula and process to create a creep-type self-adhesive waterproof membrane. It features a unique wet adhesion technology, which increases bond strength with cement mortar as the concrete compressive strength develops. By the initial setting of concrete, the adhesive layer is fully cured with the concrete surface, forming a permanent composite waterproof layer.
Layer Structure:
- Upper surface isolation material
- Reactive modified bitumen self-adhesive layer
- Polyester reinforcement layer
- Reactive modified bitumen self-adhesive layer
- Lower surface isolation material
Product Specification

Scope of Application
Suitable for waterproofing in:
- Industrial and civil buildings
- Basements, subways, tunnels, culverts
- Swimming pools and civil defense projects
- Interior and exterior walls, warehouses, roofs
- Various seepage and waterproofing projects
Product Features
- Excellent tensile performance with unique creep function; adapts to substrate shrinkage, cracking, and deformation
- Strong adhesion forms a “skin-like” waterproof layer with the main structure, effectively preventing water migration
- Self-healing: small punctures or microcracks caused by sand, nails, or pressure can self-repair
- Non-toxic, odorless, environmentally friendly, and safe
- Simple and fast installation; can be applied on damp substrates without primer, saving time
- Wet laying method provides additional advantages:
- Saves construction time; easy to apply
- Optimal cost-performance ratio
- Combines flexibility and strength
- Excellent self-healing and easy maintenance
- Safe and environmentally friendly
- Saves construction time; easy to apply

Construction Technology
Substrate Preparation:
- Remove dust and debris; ensure the surface is flat and free of protrusions
Wet Laying Method:
- Pre-lay adjacent rolls with a lap width of 80 mm
- Spread prepared cement slurry on the substrate
- Remove lower surface isolation film and lay the membrane along the line, pressing and removing air to form a tight bond with the structure
Edge Treatment:
- Fix roll edges with metal strips
- Seal top edges with compatible sealant
Installation Inspection:
- Check for tears, damage, bubbles, curling, or openings
- Cut and repair defective areas, expel air, and press firmly
Transportation and Storage
- Store and transport different types and specifications separately; do not mix
- Avoid direct sunlight, rain, and fire; ensure ventilation
- Storage temperature ≤ 45°C; flat stacking ≤ 5 layers, upright stacking single layer only
- Prevent tilting or lateral pressure during transport; cover with tarpaulin if necessary
- Avoid contact with chemical agents or organic solvents
- Shelf life under normal storage and transport: 1 year from production date
